Movin’ On Up to a New Enclosure: Leachie Fun

Anyone housing and raising Leachianus Geckos knows full well that leachies do things at their own pace and rarely cooperate when their humans reach into their enclosure to do anything, let alone try to extract them from their cozy cork bark round or log.

Leachies are the largest geckos on earth, and while beautiful, many are known to be enclosure territorial and prone to ‘barking’ or otherwise vocalizing their disapproval of any intrusions into their zone of happiness.

My two big girls are RTB (Ready to Breed), and my big male is, I’m pretty sure, up to the challenge. I’ll share pics of everyone in the next post.

Wish me luck as I attempt to relocate a couple of my big guys and gals in the coming days, I will need to employ luck as well as leather gloves and steady nerves!
